About the course

In the path to becoming a Buddha, we have to develop Bodhichitta (the mind of enlightenment). Bodhichitta has two aspects: the aspect of aspiration, which is defined as the will to become a Buddha in order to free all sentient beings from suffering, and the aspect of engagement, which is the practice of the Six Paramitas.

The bodhisattva vows are the initial step to develop engaged Bodhichitta.

In this course, Geshe Tenzin Zopa will talk about the two aspects of Bodhichitta and discuss in depth what the bodhisattva vows are.

The course is addressed to people who wish to begin the Bodhisattva path, as well as those who are just interested to learn about it.
